Robert Sanborn - Proprietor
Stephen Young  - Innkeeper

Stephen Young (pictured with Sophie at Race Point Beach) moved to Provincetown in May 2007 to run our Inn.  With the merger of 164 and 166 Commercial he now oversees 17 units known as Prince Albert Guest House.   Stephen has a long standing career in Customer Service.  Most of his career was spent managing all aspects of his family's business in Houston, TX until moving to Dallas as AIG's Regional Business Analyst.  Enjoying the retail environment (the discount; smile) he's enjoyed working with  Macy's, Coach, Cole Hahn and Neiman Marcus.  It was while working within Citibank's credit card division that Stephen accepted the opportunity to manage all aspects of a hospitality business that leverages all of his past expertise; he jumped at the chance and has never looked back!  Embracing his new role and his new home, Stephen now serves on Provincetown's Licensing Board and can be spotted on frequent walks with Sophie around town and on Herring Cove and Race Point Beaches.

Bob Sanborn (pictured walking Texas along Provincetown's Harbor) acquired the former Officers Quarter's Guest House at 164 Commercial Street in May 2007, and the Prince Albert Guest House at 166 Commercial Street in December 2007.   The properties were combined in 2008 to become a seventeen room luxury complex: the Prince Albert Guest House.  Both properties  have been bed & breakfasts for nearly a half century, and are referred to as Provincetown's Crown Jewels.  Formerly sea captain's homes over looking the harbor, they are perfect for bed and breakfasts given their large stately rooms and location on prime Commercial Street in Ptown's fashionable west end.   In addition to managing the Guest House, Sanborn also sells luxury real estate in Dallas, TX for Dave Perry-Miller and Associates, an Ebby Halliday Company.   He also is on several boards, including the Sammons Center for the Arts, Dallas Arts Development Corporation, the Emeritus Board of GLSEN, and North Lake Community College Mortgage Banking Advisory Group.   Previously Sanborn was a financial services executive with Fannie Mae for almost 25 years, following a career as an international consultant.    He chaired Fannie Mae's Customer Advisory Group for national underwriting and for national servicing and is a CPA and a Real Estate Sales Agent in Dallas.   Bob grew up in Connecticut and Maine.  After graduating from the University of Connecticut, he has lived and renovated properties in Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Provincetown.
